Listening: Please listen to the short excerpt on the following page (I know many of you are already doing a lot of other listening for the YouTube 50):
Three-Score Set for Piano: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ov3bMhndGDM

Question: What famous music and dance school is Schuman associated with? How would you describe the piano piece (is it disjunct/connected/tonal/wandering/strict rhythm/jazzy/etc.)?

  1. I didn't absolutely love his piece until about 2ish minutes into it. This rhythm is very "free". there doesn't seem to be a strict rhythm. It was very slow and had a very interesting sound to it. Above all not my favorite but it was alright. :)
