Below are pre-tests, tests, listening portions to the test and answers for the theory, listening, and musicianship test. Please do the pre-test on your own. Research anything you do not know. Ask friends, musicians, and family. If you still cannot find an answer, we will discuss it at lessons.
After, you will then get the "go" to do the actual test. Once you have completed the test (including the listening portion), you are to correct your own tests with the answers given (see the link). Please print out your level of pre-test and test (front and back pages might help save paper, as some tests are many pages). Let me know if you have any questions!
Level 1:
Be aware that the actual test will give you 3 chances to hear everything. I only give you 1 try on these tests. If you need more practice, pause the recording and listen to it again. How to practice dictation and dictation examples (try it on an iPad or iPhone if possible so it can be flipped the right way. I've tried many things to get it the right way, but alas, to no avail!):
