Parents and Students,

I am so grateful for everything you have done to make this past year possible. As I said at our recital last week, I could not teach (especially via the internet) without your support, patience, love, and sweet examples. I could not ask for a better set of students and parents who are more willing to work hard, be personally responsible, and consistently follow-through so we can all reach our potential.

I am looking forward to a wonderful new year. I am grateful the online teaching has worked so well and I also look forward to working with you in person this summer and beyond. Let's all make high goals, practice with intense focus and energy, and be special--because we can be!

I read in a book last week that it's easy to make excuses (plus, they never get us anywhere). But, as we all know, it's absolutely worth everything to put your best foot forward, practice smarter than you ever have and become the person, pianist, and musician you know you are!
